Mgr. Martin Hejný

In the KF Legal team, Martin Hejný specialises in insolvency law and litigation. Within litigation, Martin Hejný represents significant Czech and foreign financial market entities, both in active and passive disputes. He focuses on debt recovery and security instruments. In his practice, he has dealt with a number of specific lawsuits concerning, for example, bank letters of credit, bank guarantees and assignment of claims. Representation of entities in insolvency proceedings (insolvency petitions, filing claims, asserting the rights of secured creditors, representation in creditor bodies, respondents’ actions, defence against vexatious petitions, etc.) forms a large part of Martin Hejný’s activities. In addition to litigation, Martin Hejný also provides comprehensive legal advice in ​​commercial law (corporate matters, customer-supplier relations) and IT law, which has been developing rapidly.

Mgr. Martin Hejný represents KF Legal in its partnership with the Centre for Restructuring and Insolvency of Harry Pollak, Prague. He also lectures at professional conferences. Martin Hejný has been a long-term member of expert groups within the Czech Capital Market Association (AKAT ČR).
